Beats the crap out of me. But this Don't Think of an Elephant excerpt is an illuminating look into how the Conservatives are winning the "issues" war by framing a Strict "I-Know-Best-And-I-will-beat-it-in-you" Father as opposed to the weaker-imaged Nuturing "All-Have-Potential-To-Be-As-Good" Father.

It seems that people's actions are more in line with the way they identify themselves (and believe they _will be_ in the future) instead of actions that, in reality, could help them.

After reading this document, I can see how truly powerful words and twists of phrases can be.
