TL;DR.

  1. Bootstrap it yourself.  Borrow no money.
  2. More you do yourself, the less you have to prove your investment worthiness.
  3. If investors tell you games are too "hit-driven", they don't know the games industry.  What industry ISN'T "hit-driven"?
  4. Need to get out of the weeds of tech detail minutiae.  Need to have some one focus on the overall game appeal / marketability.
