I thought the idea of "The Prisoner" was so much more cool in my head than the actual execution of it.
The idea was a retiring super-spy kidnapped and stuck in a psychological mad-house (village?) matching wits with a rotating set of village leaders as they try to pry knowledge and chip his sanity away.
(Or at least, that's how I describe it.)
Of course, I didn't find out about "the Prisoner" until 1982 so I had different sensibilities at that time. More young and flashy - a la James Bond, Derek Flint and even Prisoner contemporaries, Emma Peel + John Steed.
Anyways, here's a cool commemorative poster!
Be seeing you.
