It is funny to think how programming languages are like fashion. Falling in and out of favor... though not as quickly as the seasons.
AND though probably some languages will never go away completely (COBOL), unlike bell-bottom pants, it is difficult remember any language experience a comeback in popularity after falling off the chart.
