This post continues to posit (blame?) the violence thing and possible relationship to video games.
When it comes down to it, there are some (hopefully small demographic of) folks that could be "set off" by cute puppies as well as video games.
But the majority of people have been more influenced by their current environment and during their childhood years than any small pocket of "media".
