It is kind of amazing that it has lasted as long as it has. 11 years!
But this Press Release (pdf) here is still a sad occasion.
I dunno, I guess I'm still a Star Trek nut at heart and it feels like "official" Star Trek is continuing to implode. Star Trek Online:RIP.
I know the comics are still out there. I was lukewarm on the latest New Frontiers story in comic form. Gary Seven sounds like it could be an interesting series. But there isn't anything persistent: real (ST: the Experience) or virtual (MMO).
