With the recent revival of Doctor Who, it has been a joy rediscover the character with the multiple incarnations that is redefined by each new actor who takes the role. The BBC has this incredible site: The Genesis of Doctor Who full of pictures from each age and original show design documents.
It is really just lovely.
UPDATED: Also just picked up a great book about Russell T. Davies and his creative righting process through his last great 4th season of Doctor Who. It captures his e-mails and his fears/self-doubts as he lives through the better part of Summer 2007 to April 2008.
