Sometimes technology actually does something good.

I think I'm getting more and more sentimental as I get older.

(Though I did weep sloppily watching "Ziggy's Gift" (link) back in 1982)

This story below just made me happy.  (And yes, teary.)

Emma Lawton, 33, has been suffering the uncontrollable tremors of Parkinson's Disease which has made it impossible for her to write legibly and draw straight lines.  Haiyan Zhang, 39, thought she could help Emma control the tremors through her hardware and software tinkering.
